"Effective Communication comes only by practice, not by learning".
I have heard this proverb many times, But i have never thought of how true it is since i got a chance to learn this technique by my own experience.
So is the reason i thought of sharing this technique with all of you.
Usually, when some enact kind of plays or skit are asked to perform, We [Myself and even most of my friends] used to sit for an hour or something to write all the dialogues in a paper and would be preparing/practising even i can say memorising to throw out the speech before the audience.
But this last time, we had asked to perform a simple act for some 2 minutes. We neither of us in our group had a paper. Instead all of us, discussed together to get out a theme and roles for everyone to enact.
As impacted by my previous experiences, I was thinking when we will be having a draft kind of session till the time before the original act.
When stage is offered, Every one of us started to deliver thier role in their own way.And Believe me, this became the most realistic act i had performed so far.As everyone expressed their thoughts in creative way and it turned to be humourous and the act was correctly visualized.
This also teached me more about the Team work during the discussion and during the act also.When some one got stuck in the middle, other came forward to overcome this.
Not only this example, every Communication skill and techniques comes by practice. So, Keep Practicing.
If you are doing like this, then well and good. Keep Continuing. Else, Why dont you exercise this hereafter.?
